Ask Renee what her favorite book is, and she will tell you it’s the Bible. She hopes to never stop reading and studying the Bible. Her personal mission is to help others see God in their own lives, and inspire others to put their best faith forward.
Renee grew up in Muncie, Indiana; graduated from Ball State University; and now resides in Charlotte, North Carolina. She attended Pfeiffer University/Wesley Seminary. Currently she is a substitute teacher at a local Christian school. Her husband of 20 years is a man she loves, admires and respects. They have two sons, ages 18 (freshman in college) and 13 (7th grade). The Myers have an active life, enjoy being with family and friends, and treasure time spent with each other.
In addition to keeping up with day-to-day stuff – you know, grocery shopping, cooking/ baking, laundry, shuttling kids, etc. – Renee is a member of Weddington United Methodist Church and helps with activities at her son’s school.
Since being called to writing, Renee has been a contributing writer for Proverbs 31 Ministries which has published her devotions online for Encouragements for Today, and other writings in their P 31 Woman magazine. She is a graduate of the Proverbs 31 “She Speaks!” conference for women and enjoys sharing God’s Word by blogging, teaching, and corresponding with others.
