Ask Renee what her favorite book is, and she will tell you it’s the Bible.  She hopes to never stop reading and studying the Bible.  Her personal mission is to help others see God in their own lives, and inspire others to put their best faith forward.

Renee grew up in Muncie, Indiana; graduated from Ball State University; and now resides in Charlotte, North Carolina. She attended Pfeiffer University/Wesley Seminary.  Currently she  assists with ministry at an assisted living residence, leading weekly Bible study and leading/preaching the Sunday worship service on a monthly basis.

She and her husband of 27 years have two sons, ages 23 and 18, two dogs, and one cat (the cat is not too thrilled about  the two dogs).

In addition to keeping up with day-to-day stuff – you know, cooking and baking, laundry, cleaning, etc. –  Renee is a member of Weddington United Methodist Church and helps with activities at her son’s school, including being part of a prayer group for moms of boys in her son’s senior class.

Since being called to writing, Renee has been a contributing writer for Proverbs 31 Ministries which has published her devotions online for Encouragements for Today, and other writings in their P 31 Woman magazine.  She is a graduate of the Proverbs 31 “She Speaks!” conference for women and enjoys sharing God’s Word by blogging, teaching, speaking and corresponding with others.
