We began counting 14 days of “Love is…”  in the post below with the ‘Love’ verses from 1 Corinthians, Chapter 13.  So far we’ve learned through days 1-13 that,

“Love is patient, love is kind.  It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”   ~ 1 Corinthians 13:4-7  (NIV)

Now we conclude 14 Days of Love is…        Feb 14:   Love never fails.  ~ 1 Corinthians 13:8  (NIV)

The ‘Love’ verses are written to be instructional and helpful.  They teach us how we’re to love others.  They also help us recognize acts of true love that others show to us.  Ultimately, this love brings us closer to Christ; and when His love is able to shine through us, we can bring others closer to Him, too.   In the meantime, I hope these verses will help you keep love alive in your life.  🙂
